Paradigm Xchange: Microdosing Parties & Events

I did not quite know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! The evening is a combination of facilitated exercises that involve connecting with people (also creating a safe container) and then turns into a (microdosing) house party vibe where you can connect with anyone who is there. I liked that the event attracted like-minded people to me. Love what you do and keep doing it!

Sorry, but this was a big disappointment. Like others say, the intentions were maybe good, but it didn't work out. Accoustics were terrible, the place didn't feel cosy at all (no decorations, just an empty office space), we had to leave or stuff in an area with open windows next to a homeless shelter, etc.

They were trying to add some tantra to it with eye gazing and silence, but most people did there own thing and kept on talking through The crowd was to mixed and way to big (half would have been better). Felt a bit like a rip off for 55 euro. Didn't feel like a safe space for me.

Most people left before the ending. My friend even left after 20 minutes because it didn't feel right.

I'm writing this to motivate the organisation to do more effort if they ask that price (or even just organise something like this). Create a safe space, get like minded people together, a smaller group, have clear ground rules and have authority within that, take people allong, add some cosyness, maybe find a better location.

The atmosphere on the event were pleasant and playful. Facilitators are kind and attentive. It was a great place to meet new people in a unique setting.

It was truly an authentic, wonderful experience. Nothing like I expected, pleasantly surprising.

I found the evening to be a great mix of very well guided exercises to help meet people and connect in a relaxed atmosphere and a cool free flow party vibe. The combination of microdosing and connecting and partying together worked really well. Great way to make connections and get to know new people. The party/experience was really wholesome. I joined as I saw the advertisement through social media and it seemed as nice thing to try out. I really went without any expectations, and had one or the best experiences of my life. I talked to a lot of people, had lots of very insightful, deep and meaningful conversations and had a very touching moments. Its something I recommend everyone to try at least once. Its a very safe space and the hosts are such amazing persons, and the whole team as well

One of the best decisions was to come here and try this out! Met so many lovely people and will absolutely be back again :) Thank you so much for organising! The dance party shall continue :)

I had a great time at the event. I felt that it was thoughtfully done and I could see the intention behind it. I can say that I got what I hoped for, authentic human connection.

Yeah what to say about it…

The intention is good. But that is it.
Its really hard to talk with each other since when people talk it really bounce tru the room. For 55 euros you only get 2 gr of truffels, that are squeezed out and all the pulp they trow away.

Also the toilets were since the beginning on gross, you walk on sock in the space but you really need to wear shoes to the toilet, since people splashed a lot next to the toilet….

There were lots of people with good intentions, but also a group of guys that really there to “hunt” girls. I felt really uncomfy and left early

Met veel liefde in elkaar gezet event, maar het mag wel sterker worden uitgedacht en uitgevoerd. De ruimte is laag, kaarsen staan op onveilige plekken (zitplekken op de grond terwijl je dan met krullend haar in een waxinelichtje zit: een vrouw naast ons had dat dus, we merkten het op tijd omdat je brandend haar natuurlijk meteen ruikt), op de grond staan bijvoorbeeld ook kaarsen, terwijl losse kleding en wijde pijpen de norm zijn. Ik zou daar als organisator meteen op ingrijpen, zeker in combinatie met het gebruik van middelen. In plaats daarvan zag ik gasten de kaarsen preventief uitblazen omdat ze er nerveus van werden.
Verder is het verloop wat onduidelijk. De akoestiek is slecht, mensen praten hard, waardoor je bij de intro met muziek eigenlijk nauwelijks hoort wat de opdrachten zijn. De uitvoering is wat slordig. Het is licht in de ruimte, er hangen wat van die indraai-discolampjes. Er wordt verteld over sensuele ervaringen met smaken en spelen met eten, maar ook daar denk je 'ik zie het Albert Heijn-tasje met de lege verpakkingen gewoon staan', dus het verhaal wordt veel dikker aangezet dan wat het daadwerkelijk is. Je kunt ook gewoon zeggen dat er wat snacks zijn voor als je trek hebt.
Als je erin wilt geloven is het vast een andere ervaring, sommige mensen gaan staan er duidelijk in met een bepaald idee van hoe de avond gaat worden in positieve zin, en die hebben volgens mij ook een hele goede avond gehad, maar het is geen goedkoop event en voor die prijs verwachte ik meer controle en professionaliteit.
Het is een bont gezelschap van toeristen, studenten, expats, locals en dat vind je natuurlijk alleen in Amsterdam en dat maakt het charmant. Maar het lijkt vooral de hele vriendelijke incrowd en intentie van de bezoekers die het tot een feestje maken. Symphatieke organisatie, lieve mensen, maar er rammelt nog wel wat.

Friendly hosts, good tea, but to our opinion an overpriced, a bit chaotic and short evening.

I had a lovely experience being in this community with a warm invitation to simply be who you really are.
Worthwhile coming back.

A beautiful, gentle, conscious, creative party with a collective start and end - i had such a lovely evening. Very grateful to the organisers and fellow participants :-)

I had a great evening with my friends. A fascinating blend of people showed up. I imagine some were used to more silent and conscious events and some where not. That also made it a bit confusing at times. Ánd this dynamic also made it interesting. I would go again.
