This is in an explicitly non-sexual container. We request you come sober - no mood altering substances.
We also demonstrate what a freeze or fawn response looks like, so everyone can recognize that mixed signals are always a no. We also celebrate, honor and thank each person for their no. Appreciating a no makes us available to be closer someone who is a full body yes. We practice asking for a yes to weave into the cuddle puddle by tapping an arm or leg. If the response is a yes, then the person will lift their arm or a leg to create a welcoming space to cuddle into.
