Shibari Bootcamp

Welcome to the Shibari Bootcamp to learn the fundamentals of shibari, the Japanese art of emotionally connected tying, from a dojo-trained teacher.

CONTENT: This half-day workshop focuses on understanding the fundamental philosophies behind shibari, learning basics of rope handling and how to use the rope as a conduit of Ki-energy between the giver and the receiver. After this workshop you will be able to offer an emotionally and energetically connected rope experience to someone else or a meditative experience to yourself. Every participant is expected to be able to step in both in the giving and in the receiving role. No pre-agreed partner required.

VENUE: The Shibari Bootcamp takes place at Casa LoJeMa in Bierbeek, the home of Tantric BDSI and ConSensual - embody your temple.

DATE AND TIME: Saturday 1 March 2025. The workshop starts at 11 AM sharp. Please aim to arrive 15-20 minutes in advance to land and to have a cup of tea. We will wrap up around 3:30 PM.

The workshop will be held in English.
