Holistic Breathwork & Bodywork - Winter solstice special
Discover the healing power of your breath
Join Melanie Fissendjidis and Livia Benders for an afternoon special of holistic body & breathwork during the Winter Solstice. On this 'darkest day' of the year allow your breath to guide you to your light within. A flickering flame that never dims. This immersive session consists of bodywork (psoas muscle stretches) and breathwork (conscious connected breath) and will contribute to a deeper physical, emotional and mental well-being. Conscious Connected Breath is a breathing technique that nourishes and oxygenates the body, thereby releasing conscious & subconscious tension or stagnation in our system. This body & breathwork special is a true honor to your body’s natural healing mechanisms.
During this afternoon, you will:
• Prepare the body & mind: with a grounding meditation and stretches for the psoas muscle, the muscle that tends to store any excess of stress, tension and unprocessed emotions. These stretches will already make you feel a little lighter, freer and connected to your body.
• Learn the breathing technique: Master the method of conscious connected breathing, a powerful technique that promotes profound relaxation and self-awareness.
• Release tension: Experience the release of physical and emotional stress, leaving you with a sense of clarity and calm.
• Integrate emotions: Gently explore and integrate emotions, allowing for healing and emotional balance.
• Connect within: Deepen your connection to yourself, exploring your inner landscape and gaining insights.
Whether you are new to breathwork or looking to deepen your practice, Melanie and Livia will be warmly welcoming you this wintery afternoon, offering a gentle and supportive environment to explore the depths of your body & breath at your own pace. Come with an open mind and leave feeling lighter, empowered, and more connected.

ABOUT LIVIA:
Livia is on a mission to facilitate inner knowing and deep connection within and without. She got certified to share her love for yoga in 2020. In the four years that followed she’s been teaching vigorous Vinyasa flows and restorative Yin yoga classes online, at the beach, Studio Bondi and Inner Embassy. In 2021 she founded Flow Home Retreats and began facilitating holistic retreats in both Tuscany and Bali. Over the years she became more and more fascinated by the healing power of the breath, which led her to get trained as a Conscious Connected Breathworker in 2023. Since then she’s been guiding breathwork circles and offering private breathwork sessions.

ABOUT MELANIE:
To bring out your own inner rays of sunshine: that’s what Melanie’s practices are all about. Starting with a Holistic Yin Yoga training, based on the 5 elements of nature, she guides others in drastically slowing down, finding ease and getting to know their body on a deeper level. A Strala Yoga certification followed, as well as one for Mindfulness Trainer and Holistic Breath coach. Combining expertise of these different areas, Melanie’s group & private classes, workshops and seasonal retreats are not just one thing: they are meant to deeply nourish your whole being, in a gentle environment, accompanied with warming acoustic guitar tunes.
