Over dit evenement
Join us for an Indian fusion adventure!
We invite you to come and experience this first musical meet up between Couple Positive and Saradindu Adhikary (tabla, voice) with special guest Peter Asbeek Brusse (double bass & guitar) !
Earlier this year, Hassie Dune & Ania Brzezinska (CP) spent six weeks in Kolkata (Calcutta), India, exploring the rich musical traditions of West Bengal.
Rehearsing and performing with traditionally trained Indian musicians was an amazing experience. And the warm response from Indian audiences to their musical experiment — blending Couple Positive's repertoire with Indian melodies and rhythms — was truly heartwarming.
And the musical journey continues!
As they were leaving Kolkata in March, Hassie & Ania met a wonderfully friendly tabla player at the airport. They got talking, exchanged contact details and, before long, found themselves dreaming of making music together one day.
Well, that day is coming!
Saradindu will be touring Europe, with a special stop in Holland to reunite with Hassie & Ania for a musical adventure!
Get ready for a unique meeting of musical worlds, as Couple Positive's repertoire meets the improvisations, rhythms and beautiful tonal colours of Kolkata!
Different traditions, shared musical curiosity and new adventures in sound!
