HANDPAN INTERMEDIATE CLASS MET REO MATSUMOTO

Til je handpanspel naar een hoger niveau tijdens deze exclusieve Intermediate Class met internationaal gerenommeerde handpanartiest REO MATSUMOTO.

Tijdens deze twee uur durende masterclass duiken we dieper in ritme, techniek en muzikaliteit. REO MATSUMOTO neemt je mee in zijn manier van spelen en oefenen en geeft je praktische technieken en patronen waarmee je ook na de workshop zelfstandig verder kunt werken.

We werken onder andere aan:

• Ritmewerk en timing
• Effective Basic Practice Patterns
• Split-finger techniek
• Akkoordenschema’s en harmonische structuren
• Het stap voor stap opbouwen van een muziekstuk

Deze masterclass is onderdeel van een serie van drie workshops met REO MATSUMOTO, maar ook los te volgen:

VOOR WIE?

Deze masterclass is bedoeld voor spelers die de eerste basis van het handpanspelen al onder de knie hebben.

Als richtlijn adviseren we ongeveer 3 tot 6 maanden speelervaring. Belangrijker dan het exacte aantal maanden is je huidige niveau.

Kun je met beide handen een eenvoudige groove vasthouden en weet je je weg te vinden op de verschillende noten van je handpan? Dan sluit deze masterclass goed aan op jouw niveau.

We starten exact op tijd. Na afloop blijft de studio nog 30 minuten open om rustig na te praten, andere spelers te ontmoeten en je spullen in te pakken.

INSTRUMENTEN

Heb je een eigen handpan? Neem deze dan vooral mee.

Geen eigen instrument? Geen probleem. Tijdens de workshop kun je kosteloos gebruikmaken van een D Kurd handpan van Handpan Studio.

Take your handpan playing to the next level during this exclusive Intermediate Masterclass with internationally renowned handpan artist REO MATSUMOTO.

During this two-hour masterclass, we will dive deeper into rhythm, technique and musicality. REO MATSUMOTO will share his approach to playing and practicing, giving you practical techniques and patterns that you can continue working with after the workshop.

We will work on:

• Rhythm and timing
• Effective Basic Practice Patterns
• Split-finger technique
• Chord progressions and harmonic structures
• Building a musical piece step by step

This masterclass is part of a series of three workshops with REO MATSUMOTO, but can also be followed individually:

Single workshop: €60

WHO IS IT FOR?

This masterclass is designed for players who already have a basic foundation in handpan playing.

As a general guideline, we recommend around 3 to 6 months of playing experience. Your actual playing level is more important than the exact number of months.

If you can maintain a simple groove using both hands and comfortably find your way around the notes of your handpan, this masterclass should suit your level well.

Studio remains open until 12:30

We start exactly on time. After the masterclass, the studio will remain open for another 30 minutes, giving you time to chat, connect with other players and pack up your instrument.

INSTRUMENTS

If you have your own handpan, feel free to bring it with you.

Don't have your own instrument? No problem. You can use a D Kurd handpan from Handpan Studio free of charge during the workshop.
