Play is not childish. It’s human.

Maybe we don’t need to become better versions of ourselves all the time. Maybe sometimes we just need a place to play.

When was the last time you played just for the sake of playing?
As adults, we spend so much time doing, thinking, planning, improving and becoming. The Playground is an invitation to step out of that mode for a while and into a space where you can simply be, play and explore.
Together, we’ll dance, move, create, connect, feel and follow the flow. Through playful movement, creative exercises, art and connection, we’ll explore what happens when we let go of expectations and allow ourselves to experience the moment.
There is no right or wrong way to do this.
No artistic skills needed.
No performance.
No finished artwork required.
This is not an art workshop where you learn techniques or follow step-by-step instructions.
It’s an experience.
A space to get curious, loosen up, express yourself, meet others, and reconnect with your playful side.

This is for you if you:

Want to slow down and take a break from everyday life
Feel curious about exploring play and creativity
Want to move, dance and express yourself
Enjoy meeting new people in a relaxed and meaningful way
Want to explore without needing a particular outcome
Could use some more lightness, spontaneity and flow
Are simply thinking: “Yes, I want to play.”

About your host

The Playground is held by Yasmin Shamaily, Human, Artist & Art Therapist, who creates a warm, playful and supportive space for exploration, creativity and connection.

The session will be mainly in English, but I can also offer support in Farsi and Dutch.
