Meet Ochún — goddess of rivers, sweetness, femininity & love. ✨

For this special workshop, embodiment magician & soulful dancer Tanya Galibus from Fluid Roots Dance invites us into the rich world of Afro-Cuban dance through the energy and movements of Ochún.

Ochún is flowing, sensual, joyful and full of charm. She carries the sweetness of honey, the shimmer of gold and the fluidity of the river — reminding us that softness can be powerful, pleasure can be sacred, and there is beauty in fully inhabiting ourselves.

Through rhythm, traditional Afro-Cuban movement and embodied expression, we'll explore her different qualities and let them come alive through our own bodies.

Her sets are playful, intuitive, powerful and transformative. Moving naturally between softness and intensity, joy and wildness, grounding and full-on ecstatic release.

She has a beautiful way of reading the dance floor and letting the journey unfold, inviting you out of your head, deeper into your body and eventually into that delicious place where you simply let go and DANCE.
