Our first edition of this dreamy day was such a sold-out success, we've decided to introduce a second edition at the end of this Summer season.

Spend a magical day in the heart of the Veluwe, surrounded by forest, birdsong, spaciousness and the otherworldly sound of the handpan 🌿✨

This XL Handpan & Sound Healing Day is an invitation to slow down, explore, listen, learn and receive. A full-day nature immersion in Nationaal Park Veluwezoom, where you can discover the magic of the handpan, connect with sound in a deeper way, and experience the forest of the Veluwe in a way you may have never done before.

Throughout the day, you can join one or both handpan workshops (handpans provided!), take spacious breaks in between sessions to take forest walks, enjoy tea and snacks, or simply rest and soak up the peaceful surroundings. In the late afternoon, we’ll gather for an XL Forest Sound Bath: a deep, immersive sound journey with gongs, handpan, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, nature sounds and gongs.

Whether you’re completely new to the handpan, curious about sound healing, or simply longing for a dreamy day in nature, this day is created to help you reconnect with yourself, the forest, and the quiet magic that lives in sound.

🌿THE WORKSHOPS
• Intro to Handpan (1,5 hour)
A beginner-friendly introduction to playing the handpan from a musical angle. You’ll explore basic techniques, rhythm, melody and simple patterns in a relaxed and accessible way. No musical experience is needed.

• Meditative Handpan Playing (1,5 hour)
In this workshop, we’ll explore the handpan as a meditative and healing instrument. Instead of focusing on composing musical pieces, we’ll look at how to use the handpan intuitively for meditation, relaxation, atmosphere and sound healing.

• XL Forest Sound Bath (1,5 hour)
Roaming Within’s signature Nature Sound Healing experience, expanded into an even more immersive XL edition. You’ll be guided into deep rest through the sounds of gongs, handpan, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, gongs and the living soundscape of the forest.

The day has been designed to feel spacious, with enough time between sessions to rest, connect, enjoy tea and snacks, or wander through the forest. The timeline may shift slightly depending on the natural flow of the day.

📍PRACTICAL DETAILS
- This gathering is completely BEGINNER FRIENDLY! Previous musical or wellness experience is not necessary.
- Handpans are provided for all workshop participants in collaboration with The Handpan Studio Amsterdam. It will also be possible to try out different scales and even buy your own handpan on the spot!
- Tea, snacks and fresh plant-based lunch will be provided.
- Parking is available.
- Reachable by public transportation (location is only a short 10-minute walk from the train station)
- Located in the heart of the Veluwe, in Nationaal Park Veluwezoom.

Romy is the founder of Roaming Within, a space for sound, ritual and nature-based wellbeing experiences. As a certified yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner, she creates grounding sound journeys with handpan, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and gongs, inviting participants to slow down, soften and reconnect with themselves through sound and nature.

Anton is a handpan artist, teacher and true handpan fanatic. He works together with Handpan Studio Amsterdam, where he helps people find the right handpan through his knowledge, experience and expert advice. With a warm and accessible teaching style, Anton guides beginners into the world of handpan through rhythm, melody, intuition and play.
