WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE
The doors open half an hour before the starting time. Make sure to be on time! Once we have started we cannot let latecomers in!
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: SHOW 'N TELL SEX ED
Chasing the next exciting thing - a new toy, position, technique, bigger scene - is easy, and it can be incredible. But it's just as easy to skip the simple skills that make every intimate experience better: small adjustments in touch, pressure, rhythm, breath, attention, and positioning - the stuff that makes a lover ask "how did you do that?" These foundations aren't boring, they're where the magic lives.
This is a full-day, clothing-optional pleasure practicum where education comes first. You watch demonstrations, ask questions, and - if you choose - practice with others while Reid and Wilrieke coach (watching is perfectly valid participation).
MORNING SESSION (11:00-14:00) - Energetic Sex, Kriyas & Orgasms (fully clothed)
We start slow: how pleasure moves through the body, and how working with your nervous system - not against it - deepens connection and arousal. Through demonstrations and optional exercises:
- Pelvic floor awareness and pleasure
- Breath, movement, and energetic connection
- Presence in your own body
- Reid's "Chakrahs within Chakrahs" framework
- Kriyas and energetic orgasms
- Simple ways to build pleasure before clothes come off
Participation is always optional. Watching, changing your mind, and quietly listening all count.
LUNCH (14:00-15:00)
Bring your own or join a relaxed potluck.
AFTERNOON SESSION (15:00-18:00) - Show 'N Tell... Then Try (clothing optional)
Reid and Wilrieke give live, explicit demonstrations with consenting demo partners - real bodies, real communication, real problem-solving. Ask anything: how experienced lovers adjust when something isn't working, ask for feedback, or transform an experience with a small change in angle, rhythm, pressure, or breath.
Afterward, the room becomes a practice space. Explore what you've learned with your own partner(s) while Reid and Wilrieke circulate to coach. Nothing is required - practice, watch, take notes, practice solo, pause, or simply observe. Consent, communication, curiosity, and respect are the foundation of everything.
Demonstrations may include (depending on group interest, time, and consent):
- Oral pleasure for all bodies
- Vulva, vagina, penis, and prostate pleasure
- Hand techniques and toy integration
- Flaccid penis pleasure
- Fingering techniques
- Deep-throating: breath, pacing, comfort, communication
- Strap-on play and pegging
- Reid's Flying Squirrel technique
- Positions and ergonomics
- Skillful use of hands, mouth, hips, breath, pressure, rhythm, attention
- Reading body language and responding in real time
- Giving and receiving feedback during play
- Small adjustments, big differences in pleasure
You can request demonstrations - if time and consent allow, we'll include them.
Buy your ticket with someone to guarantee a practice partner, or look for one at the event (we'll help, but can't guarantee a match). No partner? Witness, observe, take notes, or practice solo - all count as participation. Your body, your boundaries, your pace, always.
ABOUT THE PLAY PARTY
The play party starts with an etiquette talk, with space for your questions. We slowly start the free flow with dancing and a few exercises, transitioning into a space where you design your own experience. The team is available for support and inspiration, or a chat.
All genders, bodies, and orientations are welcome. This day has no expectations or requirements - a space to be expressed and celebrated, to explore! You are welcome with all that you bring and who you are, at this moment.
This event is NOT for you if:
. you are not willing to accept another person's 'no'
. you lack experience in s-positive spaces and/or workshops on topics like tantra, kink, BDSM, cuddling, or other forms of intimacy. You should be comfortable (though absolutely not obliged to participate in - on the contrary) with unclothed people and explicit action in the space. (When in doubt, message Wilrieke to check if this is for you.)
. we actively stand for inclusion. No racism, discrimination, misogyny, ableism, or shaming of bodies, sexualities, gender etc are tolerated. If you cannot commit to this, this is not your community.

This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team, and life experiences are colored through that lens; we come from different backgrounds in health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, and sexual orientation.

Reid Mihalko (he/him) of ReidAboutSex.com is an internationally known sex and relationship educator, helping adults build self-esteem, confidence, and accountability in their relationships and sex lives - with humor, personal stories, and real sexual health information.

Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.
Their work focuses on empowerment through self-knowledge, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experience of boundaries and desires, and a serious practice of consent - grounded in trauma awareness and neuroscience, lived out in experiential, connective spaces. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and work as a supervisor and mentor.
With their project Red Flags in Workshops, Wilrieke creates free materials on accountability, abuse, and power dynamics in the intimacy and wellness communities.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators are out of order - the owner won't fix this, to our regret. Stairs to enter the building. All-access bathroom on the ground floor. The workshop is on the first floor, up two stairs. Several bathrooms on the first floor (none all-access), and a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Mattresses in the workshop space. No shower.
