Upcoming tea events
Educational Tea Tasting - Seven types of Chinese tea.
A two-day immersion.
If you know me, you already know seven teas probably means much more than seven teas. Expect theories, tastings, and one of the best nights of sleep afterwards.
Tea tasting - black teas: “I thought black tea was just... meh.”
For people who think black tea is boring. I want to open your horizon.
Over-”cooked” organic Yunnan black tea - so you can taste the qualities of teas that are beyond organic.
True wild Yunnan tea from big tea trees, 2024 spring, I’ll tell you more about the term “wild“ in the context of Chinese tea
Ma Su Old Bush from Tong Mu Guan, Wu Yi Mountains (my cherished cup of medicine that I don’t serve in regular tea gatherings any more, and I’ll explain why )
A smoky Lapsang Souchong with beautiful longan notes in the tea soup, good for ageing.
A gifted black tea from Fujian or Yunnan... tea that is good from my friends, they share with me, and i wanna share with you as well. Heirloom varietal, Spring 2023.
Tea tasting — 2026 spring green teas: four provinces, four personalities, all with warming energy

Indigenous Sichuan Lao Chuan Cha green tea, wild-growing, unpruned, From Hengduan Mountains, Sichuan province, 2026 spring
How would I describe them ?
Green tea that is calming. You can feel the heat from the green teas in your bodies, rather than grassy. Green tea that’s worth experiencing—and re-experiencing.
Tea tasting — Rock Oolong for snobs
For people who already know tea and are happy to pay for exceptional Yancha.
IYKYK.
Tea tasting — Wild Phoenix Oolong
For people obsessed with fragrance. For cultivar snobs.
Tea tasting - Dark Tea or Pu Er ?
In Brussels, many people know the word Pu Er or Dark Tea, but they don’t know they could imply.
Casual Tea Gathering
For English speakers looking for a pressure-free place to slow down, chat, and simply be. I’ll hold the container for you.
Why?
1. I want you to experience genuinely good Chinese tea.
I want to give you a reference point for what good Chinese tea can actually taste like and how it can so naturally connect people.
2. I miss having a place.
A place with a friendly atmosphere among friends and strangers.
A place where you can arrive whenever you like, leave whenever you like—but from experience, you’ll probably stay until the very end.
A place where there is no pressure to perform, no networking agenda, no expectation to be interesting.
Tea, Conversations. Silence, if you need it.
3. Tea changes people.
Our body responds to it. Some words people have used:
Good tea could make you feel braver, more confident, warm from the inside, grounded—like sitting next to a wise grandmother, more creative.
And often, you’ll sleep well afterwards.
Romantic Tea Gathering, Aha
For singles, polyamorous people, or anyone curious to explore relationships in a different context, without being overwhelmed.
Come alone. Bring curiosity. Observe.
I’ll hold the container.
I’d like at least six single participants so the group has enough diversity.
Mandarin Tea Gathering
People asked, so I’m responding.
We’ll drink genuinely good tea while learning how to describe them — in Mandarin.
You learn about Chinese tea and Chinese in one afternoon, with a chatty Chinese.
Private After-work Tea & Dinner
Looking for somewhere to gather with friends or colleagues that’s not centred around alcohol?
I’ll cook vegetarian, gluten-free Chinese food, followed by tea.
You’ll leave feeling relaxed, grateful to be alive, and hopefully a little closer to each other than when you arrived, or build better bouderies.
Blind Tea Tasting — I am Fundraising
A tea tasting for visually impaired participants.
I can’t imagine how extraordinary their senses of smell and taste must be. I want to learn from them as much as they experience the tea.
Children’s Tea Tasting — I am Fundraising
A playful sensory adventure. I’ve done it with asbl TATA, kids absolutely loved it and I’d like to offer more.
Interactive, curious, naughty, eye-opening.

Now, dear people—and dear Universe— Please help me spread the word.
I feel like a very blessed person, despite all the struggles in my life.
Sometimes that blessing doesn’t feel entirely comfortable.
And a friend said to me,
“Maybe your blessings aren’t for free. Maybe they’re meant to be shared.”
I think she’s right.
Tea event is one way I can share mine.
My excercise
This is something I’m still learning.
When people come, we drink tea together, talk deeply, and sometimes become friends.
And I’m actually not very good at charging my friends.
But that’s exactly what I need to practise.
I’m very willing to pay tea producers who respect the land and make exceptional tea.
For example, the black tea you’ll drink here is very likely the most expensive black tea you’ve ever tasted, and I also think it’ll be one of the best. ( I am not saying the more expensive, the better, though ! )
If I’m willing to pay people who dedicate their lives to growing beautiful tea, then I should also be willing to let myself be paid for creating the experience around it.
That’s it.
I wish you well, friends. See you around our tea table.
Sign up links are coming soon. Please DM if you alrady wanna block your spots or plan your events.
Yours,
Wenwei
