About this event

• What is the cuddle club?


It’s a cozy evening to experience how deeply nourishing it can feel to be held, without any romantic or sexual expectations. A space where people can come together to share love and touch. We cuddle platonically, the way you’d hold a child or a kitten. 


• What will we be doing?

Trauma informed somatic coach Liza will guide you through some gentle exercises to help you unwind after your day, soften into your body, and calm your nervous system. We aim to make you feel safe in your own body, which can help you connect with others. 


• Cuddle puddle perfection


Everything is by invitation, but we will guide you into a beautifully structured cuddle puddle. It is a very comfortable, welcoming way of cuddling where you are held and touched by multiple people at the same time. Chances are you’ll float home afterwards, high on oxytocin.

• Important terms & agreements:

1. Keep it platonic: we cuddle without romantic or sexual expectations or escalations
2. Take care of yourself and others: communicate and respect boundaries
3. Be here fully: This is a sober space. No drugs, no alcohol. No phones.

IMPORTANT: If the temperature rises above 25 degrees, the Cuddle Club at Liminal will be postponed and you’ll get a refund for your ticket.

• Wat is de Cuddle Club?

Een zachte, gezellige avond waar je kunt ervaren hoe fijn en helend het kan zijn om vastgehouden te worden, zonder romantische of seksuele verwachtingen. Een plek waar we liefde, warmte en aanraking te delen. We knuffelen platonisch, zoals je een kind of een kitten zou vasthouden.

• Wat gaan we doen?

Trauma-informed somatic coach Liza begeleidt je met rustige oefeningen om uit je hoofd en meer in je lichaam te komen. Om spanning van de dag los te laten, je zenuwstelsel tot rust te brengen en je veilig te voelen in jezelf én in contact met anderen.

• Cuddle puddle perfection

Alles gebeurt op uitnodiging en met consent. We begeleiden je stap voor stap in een gestructureerde cuddle puddle: een comfortabele manier van knuffelen waarbij je door meerdere mensen tegelijk wordt vastgehouden of aangeraakt. Grote kans dat je daarna zwevend van de oxytocine naar huis gaat.

• Belangrijke afspraken

- We houden het platonisch, zonder romantische of seksuele intenties of escalatie
- Zorg goed voor jezelf en elkaar, communiceer én respecteer grenzen
- We zijn echt aanwezig, dit is een nuchter event. Geen drugs of alcohol. Geen telefoons
