Naturist hiking - Hulkesteinse Bos

About this event

Did you ever experience how wonderful it feels to walk nude, feel the wind and sun on your bare skin while smelling the leaves of the trees? Join us for a naturist walk in nature, though one of the largest leaf forest areas of Western Europe. You can make the full hike or join only the morning or afternoon part.

🌲Hulkesteinse Bos
We start and finish at the beach in front of the Eemhof Beachclub. From there we will walk through a dense and wet forest. This part of the Hulkestein Forest is very varied, with massive forest giants, puddles, and pools teeming with life. You can spot lots of butterflies and various dragonflies.

🥪 Lunch
Half way, we will make a lunch break at Natuurcamping De Altena. Tijs will provide tea, juice, salad and bread. You can leave us or join the group here around 13:00 h if you have less time.

🚣‍♂️ Creek
On the way back we will walk along the Hulkesteinse Kreek, a meandering stream where used to flow the river Eem in the past. Due to the wild cows, the rich vegetation and diversity of plants, this area is very very interesting for birds, such as Nightingale, Bluethroat, Goldfinch, Little Grebe, Cetti's Warbler and Kingfisher.

🏊‍♂️ Beach
We then arrive at the Laakse Strand, where we will have a picnic together. Bring some food, snacks and drinks to share. This elongated nudist beach consists mainly of lawns along an unpaved footpath. There are a number of small sandy beaches on the water side, but no facilities. You can go for a swim, sunbath or just relax on your own or with others. There is a liberal sex-positive atmosphere (well-known for swingers) on some parts of the beach.

Public transport: Bus 150 to Eemhof, from there max 10 min walk.

We finish the walk at Laakse Strand with a shared picknick around 14:30 h. From there you can walk back to the Beach Club Eemhof (30 min) or to Flevo Natuur parking (1 hour).

🧥 🥾 Shoes and clothes
You will need warm clothes in case the weather unexpecedly changes. We will also be dressed at the starting and end point (Eemhof Marina, a harbour with cafes, restaurants and a nice beach club) and half way, at Natuurcamping De Altena. Please bring good walking shoes and a sheet or some clothes to protect against the sun or to dress up when needed. Also bring a hat, sun screen and mosquito spray.

⚡ Tips
Wellness: You can combine your visit to Flevo Natuur, a large naturist holiday resort with holiday homes, sauna and swimming pool. To visit with the sauna and swimming pool in the wellness centre of Flevo Natuur, buy a day ticket for € 25,00. https://www.flevonatuur.nl/dagje-wellness.
