Kerst is een viering van het Licht. Of je nu nestelt rondom de dennenbomen, samenkomt rondom de kaarsen op de eettafel, je warmt aan de schittering van het Christelijke verhaal of je het toenemende Licht in de wereld weer herkent in de Winterse gedaante van de natuur. De feestdagen vieren het licht, het licht wat langzaam toeneemt in de wereld en weer waarneembaar groeit in onszelf. Om het licht in te verwelkomen organiseer ik op Tweede Kerstdag een verstilde Lichtmis. Een gelegenheid om voor de drukte van de dagen een intentioneel moment te creëren om samen te komen en ons gewaar te maken dat het licht haar aanvang neemt.
