Soul Happenings presents: Facesoul in concert

FACESOUL is the project of Faisal Salah, a Somali-born singer-songwriter and artist based in London.

With his soulful voice, poetic lyrics and warm, minimal sound, he creates music that feels intimate, honest and deeply alive. His songs carry both depth and joy — moving between stillness, rhythm, healing and celebration.

Born in East Africa, Faisal discovered music as a way to express, heal and tell stories. At 19, he began travelling the world to perform, seeing music as a form of medicine and service. Rooted in soul and R&B, and shaped by his Somali heritage, Islamic roots and diaspora experience, FACESOUL brings a sound that is both deeply personal and universal.

His voice has a rare power: it can soften the room, open the heart and lift everyone into a shared feeling of presence and connection.

After the release of YSRA in 2021 and A Beautiful Patience in 2023, FACESOUL released his debut full-length album ARRIVAL on November 14, 2025. He has performed at festivals such as Medicine Festival, Bluedot and Soul Revolution Festival, and continues to touch audiences around the world.
