Restorative Yoga & Healing Sound with Kirtan
A monthly ritual of rest, resonance, and collective voice
Restorative Yoga & Healing Sound is a monthly ritual—an invitation to pause, soften, and return to yourself through rest, sound, and connection through shared resonance.
Each session weaves together fully supported restorative postures with live Kirtan: harmonium, Sanskrit mantra, and gentle collective chanting. The body is held by props, while sound moves through the space—guiding the breath, calming the mind, and inviting the nervous system into deeper states of safety and receptivity.
Chanting is offered as an invitation rather than a requirement. Whether you choose to sing, hum, or simply listen, the collective resonance of voices creates a shared field of vibration that supports emotional release, connection, and embodied regulation. Over time, this shared sound becomes a powerful anchor—one that the body learns to recognise and trust.
This is not a one-off experience, but a practice you can return to month after month. A space to regulate, release, and gently reset—supported by stillness, sound, and collective presence.
A ritual of rest, expression, connection and resonance.
About your Teacher Luc Acke:
Luc Acke’s teaching is shaped by extensive study with leading figures in yoga, mindfulness, and devotional practice, including Judith Hanson Lasater, Sianna Sherman, Deepak Chopra, and renowned kirtan artist Dave Stringer.
Through his work with Judith Hanson Lasater, Luc developed a strong foundation in Restorative Yoga, therapeutic alignment, and the skilful use of props to support healing and nervous system balance. His studies with Sianna Sherman bring fluidity, creativity, and heart-centred spirituality into his teaching, while his exposure to Deepak Chopra’s work informs an integrated mind–body perspective.
Luc’s collaboration with Dave Stringer deepened his relationship with Kirtan, mantra, and sound as pathways to presence and emotional connection. Together, these influences shape a teaching style that is precise yet soulful, grounded yet expansive, and deeply supportive of students’ physical, emotional, and inner experience.
