Many retreats focus only on the ceremony itself. We guide the entire process; from preparation and intention setting, throughout the retreat, and into the integration afterwards. So you don’t have to carry the experience alone, and can feel safe enough to truly surrender to the journey.

This is not just a ceremony. It is a carefully held and deeply intentional experience, where every phase matters. From the very first contact until long after the retreat has ended, we aim to create a space where you feel supported, cared for and genuinely held.

Where many plant medicine events focus mainly on the medicine itself, our intention is to support the full process around it. You are not simply attending a ceremony; you are stepping into a carefully guided journey.

Before the retreat

✧ About San Pedro

San Pedro is a sacred cactus medicine originating from the Andes of Peru, traditionally used for healing, connection and spiritual insight for thousands of years.

Unlike medicines that can feel intense or overwhelming, San Pedro is often experienced as heart-opening, grounding and deeply connective. Many people describe it as a gentle, though profound teacher that invites you to soften, feel deeper, release and reconnect with what truly matters.

In direct connection with nature, our intention is to hold the ceremony outdoors on the land of our retreat location, allowing the elements, the earth and the open sky to become part of the journey itself.

✧ What to expect

– San Pedro Ceremony
A carefully guided inner journey supported by the spirit of San Pedro. The medicine may bring emotional release, clarity, deep reflection and a stronger sense of connection with yourself, nature and life itself.

– Connected Breathwork Circle
A powerful breathing technique that supports emotional release, nervous system regulation and deeper embodiment. An important part of both preparation and integration within the retreat.

– Sound Healing Journey
Through instruments, vibration and intuitive sound, the body is invited into deep relaxation and surrender. Each ceremony is enriched by the presence of an experienced guest sound healer, bringing their own unique energy and musical guidance into the journey. Over the two retreat days, two different sound healers will join and contribute their gifts to the ceremonial space.

– Community & Connection
One of the most meaningful aspects of this retreat is the feeling of togetherness. Sharing meals, sitting around the fire, moments of silence, music or conversation; reminding us that healing does not always happen alone.

✧ A unique opportunity: two ceremonial nights

This summer, we will host two consecutive San Pedro retreats on two separate nights. Participants have the opportunity to join a single ceremony retreat, or choose to stay for both ceremonies as a deeper immersive experience.

For some, one ceremony feels complete. For others, the second night allows the journey to unfold on a deeper layer; creating more space for trust, surrender, reflection and integration within the process itself.

Participating in both retreats offers a unique opportunity to stay immersed in the ceremonial field for a longer period of time, allowing the connection with the medicine, yourself and the group to deepen more organically over the course of the weekend.

• Date: Saturday August 8th 10:00 AM – Sunday August 9th approximately 10:00 AM
• Optional second ceremony retreat available on the following night
• Location: nature-rich setting near Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands

We are Debby & Elias.

What participants often reflect back to us, is how deeply cared for, safe and genuinely supported they feel throughout our retreats. Not only during the ceremony itself, but in all the moments surrounding it.

Debby works as a holistic therapist and brings softness, sensitivity and deep intuitive care into the space. Through bodywork, nervous system awareness, sound healing and energetic work, she creates an atmosphere where participants can soften, feel held and reconnect with themselves in a gentle and grounded way. Her attention often lies in the small unseen details that together create a feeling of warmth, trust and safety.

Elias works as a breathwork facilitator and guides processes around emotional intelligence, mindfulness and consciousness work. He brings calmness, structure and grounded presence into the retreat space, helping participants navigate their process with openness, clarity and compassion.

Together, we create retreats that balance softness with groundedness, intuition with structure, and deep transformation with genuine human care.

✧ Our special guest & ceremonial host

We are deeply honored to welcome Lesley Myburgh as ceremonial host for this retreat.

Originally from South Africa and living in Peru since 1991, Lesley has spent decades devoted to working with sacred plant medicines and indigenous traditions. Through years of apprenticeship with respected spiritual teachers and healers in the Andes, she developed a profound connection with the spirit of San Pedro.

For more than 20 years, she has guided thousands of people across North & South America, Europe, Africa and Australia through deeply transformative ceremonies.

Lesley is also the founder of the highly respected retreat center La Casa de la Gringa in Cusco, Peru, a place known internationally for its integrity, depth and traditional ceremonial work.

For many participants, the opportunity to sit with Lesley here in the Netherlands is something truly rare and special.

✧ Important information

As Lesley is traveling to Europe specifically for these ceremonies, we need to secure her travels and retreat preparation in advance. Therefore, tickets are non-refundable.

Of course, if unexpected circumstances arise, we are happy to help think along regarding possible alternatives or transferring your spot to someone else.
