MEET LUCERO
Lucero Ponce "@chaskasiri", Peruvian multidisciplinary artist specialized in Hula Hoop, Belly Dance, Buugeng and Silk Fans.
Lucero has performed with the duo Equilibra and solo in 35 countries, dazzling audiences at festivals, retreats, TV shows and high-profile events worldwide.
Always developing and continue to push the boundaries of Flow Arts, circus and dance.
MEET FLOWMIES
FlowMies aka Michelle Verhoeks is a flow artist based in the Netherlands who dances with hulahoops, fire and lights. This comes alive in live performances with programmed light shows, conceptual performances and unique body art.
She developed her own energetic flow style which results in dynamic freestyle and choreographed performances.
Hooping to her is a way to express herself and experience it as an intuitive art form as well as a movement meditation.
In her classes she guides hoopers around the world to discover their unique style and spice up their flow.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
⭕On Body Hoop Love by Michelle
Get into your body with this On Body Hoop Love workshop. We're going to work with dance prompts and translate it back to the hoop. As soon as we warmed up we'll explore a few moves to get to Off body and fast back to On body. Back On Body, we'll look at various skills to add graceful variations to your On body repertoire. (multi-level)
⭕Silk Fans All levels choreography by Lucero
In this workshop we are going to explore different grips, new concepts that develop creativity, signature tricks and at the end we are going to do a choreography to connect deeper with the prop and work with musicality.
⭕Single to Double Hoop Combos: A Lot Of Tosses by Michelle
A mix between single and double hoop tech. Enjoy flowing and tossing around in this workshop. We'll practice creative ways to let go of the hoop, how to combine this with a second hoop and explore playful combos. (multi-level)
⭕Hula hoop -single hoop choreography by Lucero
This workshop is intermediate level, we are going to work on different off body and on body tricks ( wraps, isolations and wedgies) combining with dance and drill a sequence with a song at the end of the sessions.
