This is a sensual bondage workshop. Shibari (Japanese rope bondage) is a beautiful and powerful way to connect with a partner, and to fully awaken both your senses: movement, touch, sound, smell, breath, hearing. All to influence the emotions and playful experiments using rope.

> What will you learn during this workshop?
We will focus on our senses. On how you can use rope, movement, breath, sound, smell, touch, feeling and your body - to combine those during a shibari session. All our senses are powerful ingredients in the interactions we have. Becoming more aware of the role our senses play opens the doorway to more conscious interactions and experiences. Truly and slowly experiencing the sensations will help us to have a deeper and more intimate interaction with our partner. To evoke powerful emotions.

> What will you learn?
We will experiment using rope, by using creativity and being in the moment. It’s going to be fun, interesting, playful and intimate.
~ We focus on the interaction between the person tying and the person being tied. Being together in the moment, playing with emotions by influencing the senses and sensations in the body.
~ You'll learn some basic tying technique to start with: how to use rope, some basic knots and frictions.
~ We’ll look at how to recieve and give during a shibari session: how to use your breath, your body and your presence.
~ We discuss how to communicate, how to create a sense of safety, and how to interact during a session.
~ We’ll look at leading and following in a rope interaction, and how to get into a state of leadership or surrender.

> Who is this workshop for?
For duo’s who would like to experiment with rope. You’re welcome if you’re complete beginners, but also if you already know some shibari technique and would like to dive deeper into the intimate creative potential that shibari has to offer. If you’re interested or experienced in tantra or in bdsm, this is a very suitable workshop. Come with a partner you’re comfortable to touch. ;-)

Butterfly has been teaching Shibari sinds 2012. She is a certified Psychosexual Somatics Therapist and Relationship Therapist. Her workshops are heavily influenced by her knowledge of mindfulness, tantra, conscious kink and conscious relating.
