Last year’s 40 Days of Fasting was a transformative experience, a powerful way to begin the year. Together, we created space, cleansing our physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. We planted seeds for our dreams in the winter and watched them flourish throughout the seasons. For me, this was and still is the most powerful ritual of the year. Now, for the third time, we are stepping into this journey once again!
This will be the fourth time we host the 40 Days of Fasting, completing a full cycle of the four directions. This year will be south.
This 40-day online program allows you to fast from home, with structured guidance, weekly check-ins, and simple daily practices for body, mind, and spirit—all within a supportive community to help you stay committed.
The journey builds up to an optional 4-day water fast with sweat lodges, for those who wish to go deeper. If a multi-day fast isn’t for you, you can still fully participate in the online program at your own pace.

I have spent years exploring fasting as a tool for transformation through shamanic practices, vision quests, plant-master diets, and the Sundance. My goal with the 40 days was to integrate fasting into everyday life—not as something you have to do alone in a exotic place, but as a shared experience within a supportive community.
Fasting is a natural practice that had been around 'forever', deeply aligned with the rhythms of the seasons. Across spiritual traditions and cultures, it has been used to gain clarity, reset the body, and strengthen the spirit.
While the focus is on intermittend fasting, you may also choose to fast from distractions—excessive screen time, or anything that drains your energy.
We begin Februray 3th and complete the journey on March 16st, aligning with a global energy of fasting. Below is the program, which can be adapted to your personal needs.

Program Overview
Week 1: Intermittend Fasting Foundations (Feb 4–7) - Initiation
Video Call (Feb 4, 19:00): Introduction to fasting, setting intentions, and receiving a fasting buddy.
Fasting Focus: Eliminating sugar, coffee, alcohol, and drugs.
Daily Morning Practice (optional, max 30 min): Writing exercise, physical movement, meditation.
Week 2: Intermittent Fasting (Feb 8–14) – Creating the Rhythm
Video Call (Feb 8, 19:00): Introduction to intermittent fasting.
Fasting Focus: Begin intermittent fasting.
Daily Morning Practice (optional, max 30 min): Writing exercise, physical movement, meditation.
Week 3: 1 DAY Juice Fasting (Feb 15–21) – Deepening the Cleanse
Video Call (February 15, 19:00): Introduction to juice fasting.
Fasting Focus: Complete a one-day, 24-hour juice fast.
Daily Morning Practice (optional, max 30 min): Writing exercise, physical movement, meditation.
Week 4: 1 DAY Water Fasting (Feb 22–Feb 28) – Preparing the Body
Video Call (February 22, 19:00): Preparing for a 24-hour water fast.
Fasting Focus: Complete your first 24-hour water fast.
Daily Morning Practice (optional, max 30 min): Writing exercise, physical movement, meditation.
Week 5: Liver Cleanse Introduction (March 1–7) – Supporting the Body
Video Call (March 1, 19:00): Introduction to liver cleansing.
Fasting Focus: Prepare for a liver cleanse.
Daily Morning Practice (optional, max 30 min): Writing exercise, physical movement, meditation.
Week 6: Liver Cleanse Practice (March 8–12) – Integration & Preparation
Video Call (March 8, 19:00): Guidance for completing the liver cleanse. Final preparation for the fasting retreat.

Fasting Retreat in Heerde (march 12–16)
For those who wish to complete the full fasting journey, we will gather in Heerde for a powerful in-person retreat.
march 12: Sweatlodge and start of the 4-day water fast.
march 13-15: Daily sweatlodge ceremonies.
march 16: Breaking the water fast in the morning.
If a 4-day water fast feels too intense, you are welcome to complete only the online portion of the program and fast in a way that works for you. The goal is to experience transformation at your own pace.
