Handpan Fundamentals: Learn to Play with Confidence
Do you want to learn how to play the handpan in a way that feels natural, musical, and meaningful?
This 1-day handpan training is designed for yoga teachers, breathwork coaches, sound healers, and facilitators who feel drawn to this magical instrument but don’t know where to begin.
Who is this workshop for?
You don’t (yet) own a handpan.
But something about it touches you.
You’ve been feeling the pull, for weeks, months, maybe even years.
You want to learn.
And you want to share it with others.
Then this workshop is for you.
What you’ll learn in this foundational day:
In this intensive, hands-on training, you’ll learn everything you need to start playing with confidence and enrich your sessions with live handpan.
✔️ Technique – How to play with feeling, control, and variation
✔️ Storytelling – How to build musical journeys that truly land
✔️ Music theory – Only what’s relevant for the handpan
✔️ Flow – Combining breath, silence, and sound intuitively
✔️ Application – How to use the handpan in yoga, breathwork, or meditative sessions
Includes: Take-home handpan for 1 month
After the training, you’ll take home a handpan for one full month.
So you can practice, integrate, and explore your own sound — in your own space, at your own pace.
About the teacher – Eddie van Dongen
Eddie is a professional drummer, percussionist, and conservatory graduate.
For over 7 years, he’s been creating live sound journeys for yoga, breathwork, and ceremonies — from intimate sessions to large festivals.
His gift? Musical storytelling that moves people.
In this workshop, he shares everything you need to do the same.
After this day, you’ll be able to:
Seamlessly integrate handpan into yoga, breathwork, or meditation
Play with confidence and intuition
Build a strong foundation for your own rhythm and voice
Not just experience the magic of the handpan, but share it
Small group = lots of personal attention
We work in a small, supportive group with plenty of space for personal guidance, exploration, questions, and play.
