Tantra for Every Body (also known as Queer Tantra) is a modern, inclusive form of neo-Tantra. It embraces diversity beyond the traditional cisgender, straight, slender, neurotypical, or young body, welcoming everyone to experience its transformative potential.
Tantra is an ancient philosophy from the East that promotes spiritual transformation and a fulfilling life. It teaches that inner peace and freedom don't come from abstinence or isolation, but through embracing the pleasures and challenges of the human body. Tantra has always been a rebellion against rigid moral codes and asceticism, encouraging practitioners to use their bodies and desires as tools for personal growth and enjoyment.
In this inclusive approach to Tantra, we'll explore our inner selves through solo, partnered, and group exercises. By slowing down, practicing mindful awareness, using breathwork, touch, movement, and sharing, you'll connect more deeply with your body and spirit.
This workshop is an evening version of the two-day weekend workshop Tantra for Every Body. It is both a stand-alone workshop, and can function as a taster for what the full weekend is about.
It includes elements like:
- A chance to slow down from daily life and focus on what truly serves you, beyond attachment, avoidance, or the mind’s ideas.
- Opportunities to learn and practice various Tantric techniques.
- Meditations drawn from traditional Tantra as well as modern neo-Tantra practices.
- The creation of personalized rituals (instead of stealing rituals from other cultures), blending the hedonistic with the sacred, based on the principle that rituals are meant to support humans—not the other way around.
- The workshop can include elements from practices like meditation, conscious touch, (Wheel of) consent, dance, sharing, enquiry, and cuddle workshops.
This is a white workshop with pink elements and therefore classified as a pink workshop.*

FOR WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP?
This workshop is beginner-friendly, although those with (a lot of) experience in Tantra are equally welcome.
All our workshops are queer-centered and straight-friendly. That means, to us, that our workshops embrace diversity beyond the traditional cisgender, straight, slender, neurotypical, or young body. Partnering for exercises is never based on (assumed) gender.
You can come alone (many people do), with your partner/s or friend/s. If you come with a partner, you are welcome to stay together for the whole workshop, or play with others too.
The evening consists of exercises that you can do on your own, in twos, or in larger groups. As in all of our workshops, you are encouraged to sit out of anything. Witnessing is valid participation.
A NOTE ON THE THE TANTRA I TEACH
There are many flavours of tantra. The tantra I teach can be considered ‘eclectic neo-Tantra’: Tantra that is a mixture of different lineages and styles of Tantra, brought to you through the lens of a white, queer, Dutch person raised and socialized as a woman.
There were great masters who brought the original tantra to the Western world. I haven’t learned from these masters directly but from their students (or their student’s students). Some of these lineages: Osho/Bhagwan Rashneesh, Chogyam Rinpoche, Crazy Wisdom, Tao Tantra, and Kashmiri Shaivism.
From these lineages come masters with lots of wisdom, but also lineages that are often not free from abusive practices. That’s why I weave neuroscience and a lot of consent practices into my teachings.
