29 maart staat er iets heel bijzonders te gebeuren: we komen samen in het Stadsklooster in Utrecht voor een Zangcirkel XL!
Zie voor je hoe we met een groep van zo'n 150-200 mooie mensen allemaal samen zingen. In de akoestiek van het Stadsklooster, ieder met haar/zijn eigen unieke stem en begeleid door spirituele liederen duiken we samen de diepte van het hart in. Daar kun je:

– contact maken met je diepste verlangens,
– je verbinden met je goddelijke essentie
– expressie geven aan wat er in je leeft
– elke cel van je wezen vullen met licht, kracht en liefde
– samen het leven vieren en JA zeggen te alles wat het je biedt.

We zingen op de eerste plaats voor onszelf, maar deze avond zal tegelijkertijd een impact hebben op de wereld om ons heen. Al is het maar door de energie die door jou heen weer verspreid wordt naar de mensen om je heen. We zetten deze avond tevens ook bewust een krachtig veld neer waarin we de wereld meenemen, om zo bij te dragen aan een lichtere en vredige wereld.


Zangcirkel
Samen zingen is iets wat in alle culturen en in alle tijden terug te vinden is. Het werd gebruikt als manier om te verbinden met elkaar, de wereld om je heen en het goddelijke. In onze samenleving is het helaas op de achtergrond geraakt en heerst de gedachte dat enkel sommigen kunnen zingen en de rest toeschouwer is. Dat is super zonde, want de stem is een krachtig instrument om jezelf mee te ontdekken, te openen en te manifesteren.

In de zangcirkel komen we weer terug bij het idee dat iedereen kan zingen en daarin is de ervaring belangrijker dan hoe het klinkt. Zingen zet je energie in beweging, raakt je van binnen uit en helpt je om expressie te geven aan wat in je leeft. Hierdoor neem je je plek in. Door het oordeel over je stem los te laten opent zich een grote kracht in jezelf.

Naast de stem als instrument van expressie, gebruiken we in de zangcirkel mantra's, medicine songs en heart songs; liederen met bepaalde vibraties die helpen om het hart te openen en je te verbinden met je goddelijkheid. Sommige van die liederen zijn al honderden of duizenden jaren oud en worden gebruikt in meditaties, ceremonies en healings. We zingen liederen van over de hele wereld, uit meerdere stromingen en tradities en in allerlei talen.


Wie zijn wij?
Deze avond komt voort uit een samenwerking tussen Tim Zeegers, Ralf Hekkenberg en Michaël Sheiran. Alledrie zijn muzikanten en zangcirkelsbegeleiders die al jaren met de kracht van klank en stem werken in cirkels. Hieronder kun je meer info en impressies van ons vinden:

Praktisch
Om je goed voor te bereiden en de avond zo fijn mogelijk te laten verlopen zijn er een aantal praktische zaken die goed zijn om te weten.

* Locatie: Stadsklooster, Utrecht
* Tijden:
-Om 19:00 gaan de deuren open. Kom op tijd en gun jezelf de ruimte op lekker aan te komen
–Om 19:30 starten we de cirkel. Die duurt tot ongeveer tot 21:30
– Na de cirkel hebben we tot 22:00 om nog even bij te komen, te kletsen en te knuffelen.
* Vervoer:
- OV: Het Stadsklooster ligt op 13 min lopen van Utrecht Centraal af. Kom je met de trein vanaf Rotterdam / Den Haag? Houd er dan rekening mee dat er aan het spoor gewerkt wordt en dat de reis langer zal duren dan je gewend bent.
- Auto & Parkeren: Parkeren in de straat is prijzig. Het beste kun je de auto parkeren in parkeergarage Kop van Lombok of Parking Groeneweg (van te voren reserveren).
* Altaar: in het midden van de cirkel bouwen we een prachtig altaar. Je mag een krachtvoorwerp of steen meenemen om bij te dragen aan het altaar en het op te laden met de energie van de cirkel.
* Warmte & comfort: Neem sowieso je eigen kussen mee! Daarnaast kan je voor je eigen comfort een schapenvelletje, deken of poncho meenemen. Tevens zijn dikke sokken of sloffen een goed idee. De kerk zal verwarmd worden, maar het blijft een grote stenen ruimte en op 29 maart is het nog geen zomer.
* Thee en versnaperingen: er wordt gezorgd voor thee en kleine snacks. Neem voor jezelf een waterfles mee zodat je ook tijdens de cirkel wat te drinken hebt.
* Houd de ruimte schoon: neem alleen dat mee de cirkel in wat nodig is. Jassen en tassen kun je achterlaten in de garderobe. Zet je telefoon aub op stil bij binnenkomst. Foto's en video's maken is toegestaan, zolang de focus niet volledig daarop komt te liggen.
* Tickets zijn na aanschaf niet meer te retourneren, doorverkoop is mogelijk.

On Saturday March 29 something very special is going to happen: we will come together in the Stadsklooster in Utrecht for a XL Singing Circle!
Imagine us singing together with a group of about 150-200 beautiful people. In the acoustics of the Stadsklooster, each with her/his own unique voice and guided by sacred songs, we will dive into the depths of the heart together. There, you can:

– connect with your deepest desires
– connect with your divine essence
– express what lives within you
– fill every cell of your being with light, power and love
– celebrate life together and say YES to everything it offers you.

We sing primarily for ourselves, but this evening will also have an impact on the world around us. If only through the energy that is spread through you to the people around you. This evening we also consciously create a powerful field in which we take the world with us, to contribute to a lighter and more peaceful world.

Singing circle
Singing together is something that can be found in all cultures and in all times. It was used as a way to connect to eachother, the world around and the divine. In our society it has unfortunately faded into the background and the idea has taken hold that only some can do it and the rest are merely witnesses. That is a great shame, because the voice is a powerful instrument to discover, open and manifest yourself.

In the singing circle we return to the idea that everyone can sing and that the experience is more important than how it sounds. Singing brings your energy in motion, touches you from within and helps you to express who you truly are. It allows you to claim your space. By letting go of judgement of your voice, a great power opens up within yourself.

In addition to the voice as an instrument of expression, we use mantras, medicine songs and heart songs in the singing circle; songs with certain vibrations that help to open the heart and connect you with your divinity. Some of these songs are hundreds or thousands of years old and are used in meditations, ceremonies and healings. We sing songs from all over the world, from multiple movements and traditions and in all kinds of languages.

Who are we?
This evening is a collaboration between Tim Zeegers, Ralf Hekkenberg and Michaël Sheiran. All three are musicians and singing circle leaders who have been working with the power of sound and voice in circles for years. Impressions and info can be found in the Dutch section above.

Practical
To be well prepared and make the evening as pleasant for you as possible, there are a number of practical matters that are good to know:

* Location: Stadsklooster, Utrecht
* Times:
- Doors open at 19:00. Be there on time and give yourself the space to arrive
- We start the circle at 19:30. This will last until approximately 21:30
– After the circle we have until 22:00 to relax, chat and cuddle.
* Transport:
- Public transport: The Stadsklooster is a 13-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station. Are you travelling from the Rotterdam / Den Haag area? Then please keep in mind that there is construction work being done on the tracks.
- Car & Parking: Parking on the street is expensive. The best place to park your car is in the Kop van Lombok parking garage or Parking Groeneweg (reserve in advance)
* Altar: we will build a beautiful altar in the middle of the circle. You can bring a power object or stone to contribute to the altar and charge it with the energy of the circle.
* Warmth & comfort: Bring your own pillow! You can also bring a sheepskin, blanket, poncho and/or cosy socks. The church will be heated, but it's still a large stone space and it is not yet summer on March 29.
* Tea and refreshments: tea and small snacks will be provided. Bring a water bottle for yourself so that you also have something to drink during the circle.
* Keep the space clean: only bring what is necessary into the circle. You can leave coats and bags in the cloakroom. Please put your phone on air plane mode when entering. Taking photos and videos is allowed, as long as the focus is not entirely on that.
* Tickets cannot be returned after purchase, resale is possible.
