I'm Denise Kooij. Intimacy coach and facilitator for men and mixed groups.
I'm certified in somatic facilitation, shadow work and nervous system regulation. But what brought me here isn't just a training. It's my own journey back to myself.
I grew up in a family where emotions didn't exist. I learned early to switch off my body just to get through. Finding my way back to my own aliveness was the most transformative thing I've ever done.
That's what I facilitate.
Most approaches stay in the head. The books. The talk sessions. You understand yourself perfectly by now. And still nothing changes.
I go into the body. That's where the parts live that are finally asking for attention. That want to be freed. So they no longer have power over you or hold you back from the life you actually want.
I've been working in sex-positive spaces for over 13 years and in tantra and temple work for 4 years.
I know these worlds from the inside. And I've made a conscious choice to go deeper — into intimacy. Because there is so much more available than most people have ever been shown.
I work with men because I saw how much is offered for women and how little for men. That didn't feel right. Men deserve the same invitation to feel, to grow, and to come alive.
